41 Degrees IT’s focus is on making as user friendly a website as we can. We have developed websites using various CMS’s, including SilverStripe, Wordpress and more recently GetSimple CMS, for its sheer simplicity from a user and developer perspective. Additionally we use ‘Content Editors’ where a full Content Management System is overkill. With a Content Editor you can still edit specific sections of the website, changing product details or adding new products or staff members. Editing is done ‘inline’ on the website so you can see how it will look on the website while you’re editing.

Business owner, Richard Sellwood, is an experienced and qualified Project Manager. Previously based in Wellington, he managed high profile, high cost projects for large consultancies. Now in Nelson, he focuses on smaller projects with varying characteristics. Richard is happy to discuss forthcoming projects or simply discuss options and provide another view point before you go too far down the track.

41 Degrees IT was created by Richard Sellwood who moved from Wellington to Nelson in January 2010. His desire was to set up a business to help small businesses to easily achieve their IT needs, be it a website, networks, backup plan, or just confirmation of an IT strategy. Richard has an IT background of more than 20 years, working in many areas of the industry, and most recently as Project Manager for software development.
